A New “Legend of Alm” Book by Graham M. Irwin

Join Graham M. Irwin on a journey to The Vanished Colony. The new science adventure, set in the wonderful world of Alm, takes place hundreds of years after the events of Slate Ahn and the Books of Knowledge.

New technologies derived from the Books of Knowledge have enabled the people of Alm to know their world like never before. Deep-sea exploration and flight have opened up a whole new universe for science and technology to explore, and the prospect of myriad uncovered wonders has the world swept up in a frenzy of possibility.

Of greatest interest is the discovery of an entire continent previously unknown to exist, the Undiscovered Lands. The second colony to be dispatched to this mysterious place, which this story follows, soon discover that their new world holds greater wonders than anyone had imagined, from giant, deadly animals to strange archaeological  remnants that affect the thoughts of those nearby them.

What the colonists in the Undiscovered Lands are about to uncover in the new world has incredible implications for those beholden to the ancient lore in the Books of Knowledge, and, ultimately the entire history and future of Alm itself.

ABOUT GRAHAM M. IRWIN:

I live in Santa Cruz, California. I graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Theater, and then moved around the country for a couple of years until I found my love. I enjoy writing in many genres and so created the world of Alm so as to have a place to give my varied stories life. At the heart of Alm is a sense of wonder. The mystery at the core of the century-spanning series is ultimately the nature of existence, and what it means to live in a changing, material world as a member of the ever-constant human race.

Though the tales in the Legend of Alm series may have deep roots, their leaves are adventure tales, full of danger and happy chance, invention and silly characters. Many readers will recognize motifs and ideas from their own favorite stories throughout Alm, as it a place comprised of the collective imagination.
